i have been saving these images for a while as inspiration

i know they may not all make sense together, but

i really like the colorway between them all

murky murks and brighty brights

we'll see what happens!

MICHAEL CASKER

been thinking a lot about clouds lately. i never imagine dressing up for halloween, ever, but this year i thought it would be fun to dress up like a cloud. i am even planning on starting a new drawing series of clouds. but i will let my imagination run amok with michael casker's images of pet clouds. CASKER is a photographer based in nyc who manages to style shoots amazingly.

GREAT MINDS...STEVEN BURKE

it's funny when you see something and you're like " hey, but i didn't make that yet!". that's how i felt when i saw images of STEVEN BURKE'S poor little trees. i tried to find out more about him via his website, but it says simply that he is a designer specializing in illustration which i think is a simplification of his work. he's done a lot of work for a lot of people and companies, too. but i really like the poor little trees.

spending a lot of time dreaming of the cosmos and being inspired by the work of none other than copernicus. he's the one that declared our glorious planet as not being the center of all things and that an even more glorious nova was. the sun. which has just starting making all things warm again here in good ole grey brooklyn. looking forward to the buds and blooms soon to follow.
