anyone who knows me, knows my love of batik style tye dye. but it's a very specific kind of colorway that i love the most- navy, black, grey, natural. i sort of love when it looks like a bruise. that's why i love the new work by UPSTATE each piece is hand dyed using a japanese technique called shibori. so each piece is unique.
